Twickenham
Twickenham (TW1 and TW2) is a large suburban town southwest of central London. It is the administrative headquarters of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and one of the locally important district centres identified in the London Plan. It is a town steeped in history, with many attractions to visit such as
York House Gardens, Marble Hill House and Orleans House Gallery.
Twickenham has a number of surrounding locations which are Feltham, Ham, Hampton, Hampton Hill, Hampton Wick, Kingston upon Thames, Richmond, St Margarets, Teddington, Whitton, Isleworth, Fulwell.
As you maybe aware the famous Twikenham rugby stadium is based in the heart of Twikenham. It is the second largest stadium in the UK after Wembley Stadium and the fourth largest stadium in Europe. Although the ground is usually only occupied by rugby union, it has in the past hosted a number of large concerts such as Bon Jovi, Genesis, U2, The Rolling Stones, The Police and Eagles.
